So I Show You Some More, And I Learn
This was a fun layout to make. Again, I found I wasn't happy with the original blue and pink color scheme so I changed it to plum and silver. That simple color change took a layout that would have been nice and made it lovely. I have a lot of Chobits images at this point, so expect a lot of Chi layouts.

it's a nice day for a white wedding / mission:kill bill
Kill Bill was a great movie and I felt like doing a layout with this beautiful picture of the Bride. I used a lot of blending properties on this, which was something I had never done before. This was one of my most original layouts.

The coolest thing about this layout (besides the title) was the use of the freehand draw tool which I used to write the text and decorate the image. I wanted to do a "school is out for summer" type layout, so I liked the "Yeah my grades sucked, but I don't give a fuck" look to this.

I joined a CLAMP layout marathon and I wanted to do one of their more obscure early works, and since I have a RG Veda artbook, I chose that one. The image was so detailed that I did very little to it other than using a picture of a lily to color it. A lot of people liked it.

I'll FREE your MIND in your ANDROGYNY
This was a rather fun layout featuring Mad Hatter from Angel Santuary. It is grundgy, dark, and more than a little wicked. The inspiration was a song by Garbage from their album "Beautiful Garbage".

butterflies in the light of a RUBY MOON
Ruby Moon had been such a popular cover girl (or whatever) in her time, that I felt inspired to use her again. I ended up using every colored picture I had of her. The result was pretty and unusually bright, which was a nice contrast from the black and white of the past layout.

I knew I wanted to do something very different from my usual style and I thought that "to venus and back" images would make something pretty, but I was surprised with how this layout developed. People have said that this is their favorite layout. I liked it, but thought it was a bit too plain.

i don't really miss GOD, but i sure miss SANTA CLAUS
This layout was inspired by a song by Hole, which is the source of the title. I wanted to do a Christmas layout that was about the loss of faith, and what better way to show that than with Kamui being stabbed with a wing. Ho ho ho.
